Following the Supreme Court's order, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has restarted the training of district returning officers (DROs) and returning officers (ROs) across the country.
The commission's spokesperson said that senior ECP officers are training 144 DROs and 850 ROs. The spokesperson also said that the training will end by December 19.
The staff who will oversee the electoral activities must stay in the constituencies where they were assigned until the February 8 polls.
The purpose of the training is to prepare the DROs and ROs with the essential skills to perform their electoral duties effectively.
